During the past three years, we have been given the mandate to establish the new Youth Pastoral Centre at Our Lady of Consolation. It has been an exciting time trying out different events with the space we have available: office space, the Church, hall, newly refurbished frassati room. Events have been held to encourage young adults across the Archdiocese in their parish ministries, opportunities for prayer and reflection and days of formation as well as retreats for school groups, including an annual day of retreat for S6 pupils from every secondary school in the Archdiocese. In 2009, we look forward to beginning an annual retreat day for S5 pupils also.

Our ongoing initiatives, we hope, will strengthen links between young people among the various parishes of the Archdiocese and assist them in proclaiming the good news to all they meet.
