The Youth Pastoral Team is comprised of the Principal Youth Chaplain, Father David Wallace and two youth officers: Chris Docherty & Rachel Romain.

Chris has worked in Youth Ministry since 1995, engaging in a variety of work with schools, parishes and ecumenical projects. A native of Glasgow, Chris studied English Literature and Psychology at Strathclyde University before spending a year as a Jesuit volunteer in Liverpool (1994-95). Alongside his ongoing work, he has completed a postgraduate certificate in youth and community studies at St. Martin's College in Lancaster and a Masters in Pastoral Studies from Loyola University in New Orleans. Rachel is originally from the Diocese of Brentwood. She studied philosophy and theology before a spell teaching RE and then working at a Diocesan youth retreat centre. From 2006 till 2008 she lived in Belgium and ate far too much chocolate!! Her interests include playing trumpet and guitar, but not at the same time. Email: rachel.romain@btconnect.com 
Fr. David was ordained priest for the archdiocese of Glasgow on 27th June 1999. He was assistant priest at St. Patrick’s Dumbarton before moving to Christ the King Parish in Kingspark, and chaplain to Holyrood secondary school from 2000 until 2007. Fr. David was appointed as Principal Youth Chaplain for the Archdiocese in August 2006, residing at Holy Cross Parish, Crosshill and is part of the Youth Pastoral Team.
